About Us

Texas RehabACTion Network (TRAN) is a non-profit organization that promotes the public vocational rehabilitation program’s ability to provide employment services to persons with disabilities and disability related solutions to the business community.  TRAN works to foster effective partnerships with state and national vocational rehabilitation programs, community rehabilitation providers, other community resources, and universities to promote research and expand knowledge of best practices in the field of VR. 

 

Every year TRAN provides a training conference to advocate, educate, support, and advance the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program.  The TRAN 2009 Conference is to be held in the Lubbock.  The conference will have about 700 people in attendance and consisting of concerned public and private professionals, educators, persons with disabilities, and their families, friends, and businesses working together to positively affect the public VR program.
