THERE’S MORE THAN ONE WAY TO ENTER YOUR MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION... and become a TRAN member

Now, here’s one way to become a member:
Down the page just a bit is a form you can fill out and print or click here for a PDF version of this form. Please fill it in, print it out, add your check and send via snail mail. The address is:

TRAN
P.O. Box 4295
Austin, Texas 78765

Here’s another way:  Fill out the following form and pay via the nifty PayPal system. You don’t need to have an account at PayPal and it’s completely safe. After you’ve completed their steps they’ll send you a receipt and you just forward that to us at the address of the TRAN treasurer listed below. That’ll let us know you’ve paid via your credit card. Once the following form is filled out, punch the submit button and you’re done... and a TRAN member.
NOTE: Here’s a tip from Jim Wilson -- “You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to pay for dues using the link from TRAN’s web site. When you get to the PayPal site, it asks if you want to log in or if you don’t have a PayPal account, click “continue” to pay by credit card. Then you can enter all the pertinent information regarding name, address, etc. and credit card information and process like other types of online purchases.” --- Thanks Jim
If you are paying for your membership with a credit card and you’re using PayPal - (either you already have an account or you open one when you get to the site) click on the pay pal icon below, complete the simple steps they ask of you to either log in or start a new account. YOU DON’T NEED TO OPEN A PAYPAL ACCOUNT and you can just pay with a credit card via the PayPal site - it’s secure.

NOTE: PayPal will e-mail you a receipt for your transaction and if you would please - just forward that to this e-address for Debbie Lambright.
debbie.lambright@dars.state.tx.us
She will make sure that you are a fully documented member.

AND... Please complete the above including the Division and Region in which you work (if applicable) and click the bar to send your membership information to Debbie.

WHY BE A MEMBER OF TRAN? Read this short note from a working public VR professional:

“I love my position in public vocational rehabilitation. I enjoy the fact that we are one of the few agencies of the Government that pays for itself to be here. Without Public Vocational Rehabilitation, many thousands of folks around the State and Nation would remain unemployed or become unemployed because of a disabling condition. This is one of the least expensive and yet formidable methods I have found to keep this program going for decades to come. We may have some tough battles ahead with a continuing need to reauthorize the Rehab Act and other entities desire to share our funds, but if we stick together and grow, no one can defeat us.”
